Retail Store Supervisor

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of the sales and repair associates, training them, assigning duties/areas, and preparing work schedules.
• Managing and tracking inventory of repair parts, accessories, and devices.
• Placing orders for inventory replenishment as needed.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Promoting repair services, accessories, and other products.
• Suggesting additional services or upgrades to customers.
• Providing basic technical advice and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
• Coordinating with technicians for complex repair inquiries.
• Managing and leading a team of sales associates.
• Training new employees on sales techniques and store policies.
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff.
• Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Overseeing cash register operations and cash handling.
• Ensuring that repair services are performed to high-quality standards.
• Conducting quality checks on completed repairs before returning devices to customers.
• Assisting with scheduling repair appointments.
• Implementing marketing initiatives to attract new customers.
• Resolving operational issues and customer complaints effectively.

Specific Job Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 7-12 months experience in a retail or customer service role is required. Supervisory experience in a similar work setting is desired.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills in English language.
