Position:  Business Process Analyst
Duration/Type: Permanent/Full Time
Reporting Location: 21 King Street West, 5th Floor, Hamilton, Ontario, L8P 4W7
Salary offered: $45.00 per hour–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 32-40 Hours a week; overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to identify and understand their requirements for information systems and applications.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including real estate agents, brokers, and developers, to gather insights and feedback.
  • Document technical requirements to ensure alignment of products, processes, and solutions with business needs.
  • Analyze and document current business processes and workflows within the real estate domain.
  • Create detailed documentation including process maps, requirements specifications, and user guides.
  • Design, develop, and implement business solutions for information systems.
  • Ensure that applications meet the needs of real estate professionals and support the sales management lifecycle.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Perform tests to ensure quality, detect defects, and verify that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Perform pumping tests to evaluate well performance, where applicable.
  • Perform market analysis to identify potential gaps and opportunities in the market.
  • Provide inputs to the product backlog based on market research and client feedback.
  • Actively participate in developing the product strategy based on client feedback.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of products.
  • Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on new processes and application functionalities.
  • Present software products/projects to clients and conduct workshop sessions.
  • Provide strategic advice on information systems, including policy development, management strategies, and service delivery enhancements.
  • Identify areas for improvement in business processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Employment Requirements

Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience with real estate domain with in-depth knowledge in real estate product and sales management.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Siebel) and other real estate technologies.
  • Experience using project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of real estate sales management lifecycle and processes.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and working in Agile development team.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

Education

  • A college level diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant work experience.
