Secondary Location: 4499 Mainway Drive, Burlington, ON, L7L 7P3
Offered Salary: $19.50 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Other Benefits: Optional group insurance benefits including medical, dental and eyecare coverage on 50% cost sharing basis upon completion of 6 months employment period.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 35.0-44.0 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Managing the shift to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant during the assigned shift.
  • Overseeing the performance of the staff members during their shift. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent customer service, and ensure that customers are greeted warmly, orders are accurate and timely, and any customer concerns or complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Training and developing new/existing team members and motivating and encouraging a team to achieve targets.
  • Ensuring that food and beverages are prepared and presented according to Tim Hortons’ standards. Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation to maintain consistency.
  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
  • Resolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide highest level of satisfaction.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in food preparation or service is required. Supervisory experience will be considered as an asset
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Requires excellent communication skills in English, ability to deal with all levels of employees and to resolve customer complaints/issues
