Store Supervisor-Optical Retail

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the optical retail section to ensure consistent workflow and premium customer service.
• Provide guidance and onboarding to new team members or assistants as needed to maintain store standards.
• Coordinate inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking of eyewear products and accessories.
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure alignment with promotional campaigns and brand guidelines.
• Handle customer consultations, product selection, and post-purchase care including fit adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Manage sales transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Coordinate schedules for eyewear appointments and support the smooth integration between retail and clinical services.
• Liaise with suppliers and labs to ensure timely fulfillment of custom orders and resolve product issues.
• Contribute to promotional planning, in-store marketing activities, and community engagement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role is required. Supervisory experience in a similar work setting is desired.
• Effective communication skills in English language are required for interacting with customers, resolving issues, and liaising with other team members and management.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
