• Location: Alliston, Ontario, L9R 1W1

• Work setting: On-site (no remote work option)

• Salary: $19.69 per hour

• Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week

• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

• Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Early Morning, Weekends, Rotating Shifts

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Responsibilities

As a Resident Care Aide, you will:

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting)

• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)

• Provide assistance with mobility (lifting, turning, positioning, transferring residents)

• Transport residents using wheelchairs or stretchers

• Serve meals and assist residents with eating as required

• Support residents with exercise and activity routines

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including making beds and tidying rooms

• Respond promptly to call signals and resident needs

• Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments

• Administer first aid in emergency situations

• Perform other duties related to patient comfort and care as assigned

Credentials

• CPR Certificate required

Security & Safety Requirements

• Bondable

• Criminal record check

• Immunization records

• Vulnerable sector check

• Tuberculosis test

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities

• Fast-paced environment

• Physically demanding; lifting up to and over 45 kg (100 lbs)

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Repetitive tasks; bending, crouching, kneeling

• Ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail
