Requirements

Language: English

Asset Language: Tagalog

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Experience preparing traditional Filipino dishes such as inihaw (grilled meats), adobo, sinigang, kare-kare, pancit, and other regional specialties is a strong asset
Key Responsibilities

Determine size of food portions and estimate food costs
-
Plan menus and estimate food requirements (Filipino cuisine specialty)

Requisition food and kitchen supplies

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
-
Prepare meals for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Inspect kitchens and food service areas
-
Train staff in preparation, cooking, and safe food handling
-
Order supplies and equipment
-
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
-
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

Clean kitchen and work areas

Manage kitchen operations
