Are you a caring, responsible, and organized individual looking to make a positive impact on children’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to care for two elementary school-aged children in a family household. The parents are both working full-time in the health care and transportation industries, and need reliable assistance to ensure their children are well-cared for while they are at work.

Job Details:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Will train, prior childcare experience an asset
Work Setting: Employer’s home, non-smoking environment
Work Site Environment: Live-in accommodation available at no charge, though not a condition of employment
Work Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Child Care: Supervise and care for two children (elementary school age), including taking them to and from school and appointments.
Daily Care: Assist with homework, personal hygiene, social development, and teach children life skills.
Light Housekeeping: Perform basic household tasks, including light cleaning, tidying up, and meal preparation.
Discipline: Follow parent-requested methods of discipline and maintain a safe environment for the children.
Activity Planning: Organize fun, educational activities such as games and outings to promote social development.
Health Monitoring: Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
Travel: Accompany the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties when needed.

Organization: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and keep detailed records.

Additional Information:
Accommodation: Optional live-in accommodation available at no charge (not a condition of employment).
