About the Family

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Hamilton, Ontario. Both parents work full time, and we are looking for a dependable nanny to help care for our bright and energetic 9-year-old daughter. She is cheerful, loves reading, creative play, and outdoor activities.

We value trust, kindness, and open communication, and we are hoping to find someone who will become a long-term member of our family’s daily life, providing consistent care and support as our daughter grows.

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting:

• Employer’s home

• Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (Note: This is NOT a condition of employment)

• Family with one school-aged child (9-year-old daughter)

• Parents are both employed full time

Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Supervise and provide care for a 9-year-old child in employer’s home

• Assist with homework and school projects

• Take child to and from school and extracurricular activities

• Organize after-school activities, games, and outings

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

• Provide emotional support and guidance

• Encourage positive personal hygiene and social development

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to child care

• Cook simple meals as required

• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child

• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision
