Position:  Administrative Coordinator
Duration/Type: Full Time
Location: 129 Anne Street South, Barrie, ON, L4N 7B6
Salary: $68,000 per annum. The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Vacation: 4 % of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 32.5 Hours a week.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Oversee and co-ordinate administrative procedures for multiple car wash locations. Review, evaluate procedures and implement them.
  • Maintain communication with regards to the administrative procedures to follow at the sites.
  • Act as a professional liaison in case of government agency inspections concerning safety, workplace issues.
  • Ensure each branch is maintaining records such as employee training, records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
  • Attend meetings, documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from the meetings.
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as equipment, supplies, forms, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Prepare yield reports for the management.
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintaining inventory.
  • Schedules staff to meet anticipated business demands.
  • Orders necessary chemicals and supplies.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Two-Three years administrative support/coordination experience is required.
  • A college diploma in Business management/administration or equivalent experience is required.
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Possess an understanding and working knowledge of MS Office suite to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English language are required. Ability to present to a group of people.
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex information and present it simply and accurately.
