Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and streamline openings of new franchise locations within various regions of Ontario.
- Assist in the development of franchise business models and strategies for expansion into new regions. Evaluate the feasibility of franchising in specific areas.
- Analyze financial data, including revenue projections, costs, and profitability, to assess the financial viability of franchise opportunities.
- Develop business plans and proposals for regional expansion and franchising initiatives. Outline strategies for growth and market penetration.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of franchisees by evaluating their qualifications and suitability to operate a franchise in specific regions.
- Monitor the performance of franchise locations in different regions. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate training programs for franchisees to ensure they understand and follow the franchise system and brand standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the presence of the franchise in designated regions, including site selection and market entry planning.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, outlining the progress and results of regional development and franchising efforts.
- Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting for regional development initiatives and franchise expansion.
Specific Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in economics/commerce, business administration or public administration is required
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the field of Financial/Marketing Analysis, or business development is required
- Possess an understanding and working knowledge of MS Office suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Requires excellent proficiency in English language
- Requires moderate to excellent proficiency in French language
