| Salary: | $16.55 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP. |
| Vacation: | 4% of the gross salary |
| Hours of Work: | 35-40 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week |
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough and other dough-based items.
- Measure ingredients and follow recipes accurately.
- Ensure that dough is properly proofed and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized dough preparation area.
- Keep kitchen equipment and workstations clean and organized.
- Assist with food preparation and inventory management.
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Wash dishes and kitchen utensils.
- Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Participating in training sessions to learn about new menu items, food safety procedures, and customer service techniques.
- Operate POS system to cash out customers.
Requirements:
- Secondary school education is required.
- Requires basic communication skills in English, ability to take directions from the Shift supervisor/Manager.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
