Job Description
Position:	iOS Developer
Position type:	Permanent/Full Time
Location:	5050 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON, L4W 5B1
Salary:	$95,000 per annum–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Other Benefits:	Group insurance benefits including health coverage, dental and eye care
Vacation:	4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work:	37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using programming languages such as Swift and Obj-C.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices
Collaborate with designers to implement user interfaces and ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience
Identify and fix software bugs and performance bottlenecks, ensuring the application is stable and runs smoothly
Optimize iOS applications for performance, speed, and efficiency, including memory management and responsiveness
Ensure that the app works on various iOS devices and screen sizes, including iPhone and iPad, and across different iOS versions
Integrate and interact with various web services, APIs, and external data sources to fetch and display information within the app
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to understand requirements and deliver features on time
Provide technical support to end-users, address their concerns, and troubleshoot issues
Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in the application for a smoother user experience

Employment requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years experience building iOS applications with Swift and Obj-C.
A strong command of important programming and computer science concepts.
Understanding of how mobile applications are built from end-to-end, including how they interact with server-side components.
Fundamental knowledge of core mobile principles (UI implementation, common development frameworks, REST APIs).
A working knowledge of common architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVC.
Great interpersonal skills – we work very closely together as a team and require a lot of communication.
A proactive personality, and a desire to deliver your best work.
A love for improving software development workflows and processes.
XCode, Swift, SwiftUI, Obj-c and REST API.

Educational requirements
