| Salary: | $17.60 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP. |
| Other Benefits: | Optional group insurance benefits including medical, dental & eyecare coverage on cost sharing basis |
| Vacation: | 4% of the gross salary |
| Hours of Work: | 35-40 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week |
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Supervising and directing team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively.
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to crew members.
- Providing guidance, training, and support to new and existing team members.
- Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensuring that food is prepared and served according to Wendy’s standards and procedures.
- Conducting quality checks on food items to maintain consistency.
- Monitoring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensuring that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and food safety regulations..
- Managing breaks and meal periods for team members.
- Assisting in the training and development of new team members.
Specific Job Requirements
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 7-12 months experience in food preparation or service is required. Supervisory experience will be considered as an asset
- Requires good communication skills in English, ability to deal with customers and food service employees.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
