| Salary: | $16.00 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions. |
| Vacation: | 2 weeks per year |
| Hours of Work: | 35.0-44.0 Hours a week. Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week. |
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Keep the dishwashing & kitchen area organized, tidy and clean
- Set up the dishwashing area and operate dishwashing machine
- Have clean dishes available and put away to serve food
- Set up bus pans for soaking and sinks for manual washing
- Complete cleaning jobs outlined by management teams
- Keep garbage containers emptied and cleaned
- Assist in kitchen by washing and peeling vegetables and fruit
- Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators & cupboards
- Perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
Job Requirements
- Secondary school education is required.
- Requires basic communication skills in English, ability to take directions from the Shift supervisor/Manager.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment
