| Wages: | $16.55 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP. | |

| Hours of Work: | 35-44 hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week |
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, often using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Preparing food items according to Tim Hortons’ standards and recipes, such as sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods.
- Assembling sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items with precision and attention to detail.
- Operating kitchen equipment like grills, ovens, fryers, and coffee machines
- Brewing coffee and preparing various hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, & teas.
- Adding ingredients like milk, cream, and flavorings as requested by customers
- Keeping the restaurant and dining area clean and tidy.
- Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils.
- Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handling cash transactions accurately and providing correct change to customers
- Adhering to Tim Hortons’ policies and procedures, including food safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Secondary school education is required.
- Requires basic communication skills in English, ability to take customer orders and take directions from the Shift supervisor/Manager.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
